Formed in 1995, Brulé is one of the top-selling Native American bands with more than one million albums sold worldwide. The band and dancers takes its name from the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe of South Dakota to which founding member Paul LaRoche belongs. Brulé has also won numerous awards at the Native American Music Awards including Group of the Year in 2009. Brulé was also featured on the One Nation Float at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade in 2011. Their national performances carry the same contagious excitement as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Celtic Thunder, and Riverdance – but with the emotional impact of the American Indian culture.
