The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians' Four Winds Casinos® are pleased to announce a new employment office in downtown South Bend will open in preparation for a major recruiting effort for the Four Winds Casino South Bend® property.The office, located at 506 W. South Street inside Union Station and near Four Winds Field®, will open Monday, July 24. It will be the primary human resources office for the expected 1,200 new hires for the South Bend property.
"This office will serve as the human resources hub for Four Winds South Bend," said Frank Freedman, Chief Operating Officer of Four Winds Casinos. "It's a central location for anyone interested in learning more about positions available, or to complete an application. We chose Union Station intentionally; it's a key economic development area in downtown South Bend."
Applications can be filled out at the office in Union Station, which will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. Human resources staff will be on site to assist applicants.
A variety of positions for the South Bend property have been posted on the Four Winds website. According to Freedman, food and beverage, gaming, security, valet, finance, and more are available for the South Bend location. Applicants are encouraged to visit the Four Winds website regularly, www.fourwindscasino.com, and look under employment for current open positions.
Freedman reminds the public that the first in a series of job fairs takes place tomorrow, July 22, from 10 am. to 3 p.m. at Jackson Middle School, 5001 Miami St., South Bend. Other job fair dates are Saturday, August 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Four Winds Field; Saturday, September 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jackson Middle School; and Tuesday, October 3 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Century Center.
